In 1972, Peter Hunnaball joined Woods Air Movement as a technical apprentice. Peter has progressed through the years into different roles within the company, as well as mentoring new technicians. For four years Peter managed the acoustics laboratory and, in 1981, was promoted to managing our whole testing laboratory.
In 1992, Peter graduated from his business degree and went on to manage several major projects for the company. To name a few of these global projects; Jubilee Line Extension, Canary Wharf, Sydney Harbour Tunnel, Lead and Zinc mine in China.
Peter also worked for the Industrial side of the company for a while where he helped develop products for customer needs. The past two years Peter has been in the role of Woods Technical Manager where he shares his knowledge, experience and find solutions for colleagues and customers.
We held an event for Peter on his work anniversary where we invited some past and present colleagues and his family to celebrate this significant moment in his career. Some of the people attended were also apprentices he mentored. We also announced that we have renamed a meeting room in honour of this milestone.
Congratulations to Peter for this achievement and thank you for all your hard work and passion throughout all these years of dedication to Woods.
