Woods engineering for extreme conditions
The PowerBox³ T120 is the high-temperature version of the PowerBox³ box fan range, specifically designed for applications where hot air and steam are present. With airflow performance up to 9790 cfm and static pressure up to 4.15 inwg, it is ideal for commercial kitchens, high-temperature exhaust systems and demanding HVAC applications.
The PowerBox³ T120 range delivers very low breakout sound levels & high static efficiency.
o 3ph options available
o High efficiency backward curved aluminum impeller
o Motor positioned out of the airstream for extended life
o Interchangeable side panels for easy maintenance
The PowerBox³ T120 fans can operate in air and steam temperatures up to 248°F. The casing is constructed from pre-galvanized sheet steel with double-chambered aluminum Pentapost frames and thermally insulated double-skinned panels filled with 18–26 mm glass fiber to minimize heat loss and breakout noise.
The high efficiency centrifugal impellers are dynamically balanced to ISO 21940-11 grade G6.3, ensuring smooth, reliable operation even in high temperature environments.
Motor out of airstream - designed for longevity
The PowerBox³ T120 is fitted with direct-drive Class F motors with IP55 protection (NEMA 4), positioned out of the airflow path to protect against heat and grease contamination. All units are speed controllable using Woods supplied inverter drives.
Perpendicular discharge as standard
The T120 model is supplied with 90° perpendicular discharge only, specifically optimized for high-temperature and steam applications. Units can be floor, wall or roof mounted internally or externally and are suitable for high static pressure duct systems.
